In late 2013, we have initiated our business
project to open the very 1st “Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ
Restaurant’ in Central USA district.
Even with our intensive Business Experience
and/or Expertise in the Hospitality Industry between
my business partner and myself, finding a resource
of our Initial Business Funding for our 1st
Restaurant was a big challenge for us, as a start-up
with limited real estate collaterals.
Unlike other possible funding resources, from the beginning, Phoenix Commercial Bank has focused more on intangible elements within our Gyu-Kaku Business Plan, such as, but not limited to our professional experience, qualification, individual credit, quality of business plan and potentials of success and future growth of the Project. The SBA funding team of URB has diligently worked with us together, side by side, as we went through the process.
Later in 2016, with dedicated support and guidance from the URB team, the very 1st Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ Restaurant opened its front doors to the public on October 14th, 2016.
Quickly, we have proved that our business plan was correct and accurate, as the dining rooms of our restaurant have been constantly fulfilled with dining guests, looking for a unique dining experience within our new dining concept. Only 2 months later in December 2016, we have posted profit figures in our PL Statement, and profit margin of PL Statement has been growing since then.
